Pickering Garden Club Meetings & Events
Pickering Garden Club Meetings on the second Tuesday of the month feature entertaining and informative speakers who educate our members on various aspects of horticulture and gardening. The meetings are a mix of virtual and in-person meetings. In addition to speakers, we also have a variety of social activities as part of the monthly meetings and the May, September and October meetings usually include professionally judged flower shows. Points and prizes are awarded to worthy specimens at our flower shows, and all members are encouraged to exhibit and participate in this friendly competition.

In-person Meeting Details
September through November and April through June monthly meetings are in-person and January through March will be virtual meetings. In-person monthly meetings are held in the O’Brien Rooms at the Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex (formerly Pickering Recreation Complex) starting at 7:30 pm (unless otherwise noted). Doors open at 7:00 pm.
On Flower show dates, members who are exhibiting need to place their entries to be judged, before 7:15 pm. Out of consideration for the judges, the 7:15 pm deadline will be strictly enforced.
Virtual Meeting Details
January through March monthly meetings are virtual, and start at 7:00PM. The link to the meeting sent the week before the meeting.
Guests Are Welcome!
Guests are always welcome at our meetings, whether accompanying a member or just looking to see what we are about. You don’t have to be a member to attend one meeting as guest. For virtual meetings, please contact us at pickeringgardenclubinfo@gmail.com and ask to be sent the link for that month’s meeting. For in person meetings we are located in the O’Brien Rooms at the Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex is via the Back Arena Entrance off of Diefenbaker Ct.
